“Figures so cool, they’re practically frozen” in 2007

Whenever Hasbro wants to excite the older generation of Star Wars fans they bring out the classic Kenner logo and packaging design and get us to drop bucks on figures. It’s a proven trick, and it’s always so very cool that I can’t even get upset at Hasbro for taking advantage of memories and nostalgia to sell modern toys.

One example of this trick in action is the Saga collection from almost a decade ago. Check out this full-page ad from a 2007 issue of ToyFare magazine, and then visit rebelscum.com for several pics of the toys. Just try to resist those vintage-style package designs!
