“‘Fearless Photog’ wins Mattel contest” in 1985
Last Friday I posted a 1986 article and today I’d like to return to Mattel’s Masters of the Universe contest of the eighties for this Associated Press article as published in the December 20, 1985, issue of The Times-News newspaper. Written by Judie Glave, the article gives us another peek at Fearless Photog*, 12-year-old Nathan Bitner’s winning design that was supposed to be released as a Masters of the Universe action figure in 1987. That didn’t happen, but Mattel did eventually produce the toy decades later.
