Spotted Online – 1973 G.I. Joe Adventure Team Catalog at Plaid Stallions
Books like G.I. Joe and Other Backyard Heroes* and GI Joe: The Complete Story of America’s Favorite Man of Action* have generated a love for the G.I. Joe Adventure Team that I never had as a kid. Flipping through the history of those old toys, and seeing all of the pics, has me wishing someone out there would be so kind as to donate a bunch of the toys to me. Someone has a set they want me to have, right?
Probably not, and it’s probably not a good thing that I ran across the 1973 G.I. Joe Adventure Team Catalog at Plaid Stallions. Awesome stuff! And another reason that the death of action figure outfit sets makes me sad. Imagine if Hasbro made small adventure sets for Star Wars action figures today.
