FansProject Dai-Z Pre-Orders Open at TFSource

UPDATE: This new design is inspired by Dai Atlas, a Japanese Transformers toy from 1990 (see tfwiki.net) that wasn’t a part of the US line. Looks like I need to spend a little more time exploring The Unofficial Guide to Japanese and International Transformers* since I clearly don’t know Japanese Transformers well at all.

Following the pre-orders for the FPCore exclusive Trianix Alpha (posted here) comes the announcement from TFSource that pre-orders are now open for the Dai-Z transforming robot toy. As with Trianix Alpha, Dai-Z looks to be another Diaclone homage. Unfortunately, my Diaclone experience is so limited that the best I can do is look at the robot and say “neat!”

The latest release from Fansproject in their warbot series is noneother than Warbot Dai-Z! Figure stands approximately 8.3/21CM tall in robot mode, splits into 3 vehicles, and includes 3 soleron cores!
