Mattel’s Matt Mason Toys in LIFE Magazine in 1969

The problem with books like Space Toys of the 60’s* and Action Figures of the 1960s* is that it’s too easy to go from looking at the books to looking at the toys online. And when it comes to Mattel’s Matt Mason series that could get dangerously expensive; those bendy figures don’t resist the effects of time easily, so the toys in good shape are kinda pricey.
