ToyBiz X-Men Action Figures in 1991
It’s amazing the roller coaster ride the X-Men have taken over the last thirty or forty years. Comics, cartoons, movies, toys . . . ah, X-Men toys of the past. That’s where this 1991 comic ad for the ToyBiz X-Men action figures (find at Amazon.com*) enters our Saturday morning. It’s not surprising that Marvel would promote the action figures in comics, but that ToysRUs bit on the ad does shock me a little. I guess TRU was an early supporter of the brand.
