1981 Star Wars Wampa Newspaper Advertisement
Back when I was a kid we had only one choice when it came to the Wampa: The classic Kenner toy. Period, kids. (Well, there was the Micro Collection, but I’ll pretend that doesn’t exist at the moment.) Kids these days have so many Wampa options (find at Amazon.com*) that it’s disgusting . . . and sorta cool. Still, in my day we had our single Kenner Wampa and we were happy for it!
