Spotted Online – Khabarakh’s “Next 17” Custom Kenner-Style Star Wars Action Figures
Back in 2014 I wrote about my desire to see Funko create Star Wars ReAction Figures. Some loved the idea while others hated it, but regardless of which side of the line you fell on I think you’re gonna want to see this rebelscum.com thread where user Khabarakh asks the question:
So, who would this hypothetical next line have included? For the sake of this exercise, let’s say that they decided to mirror the previous line and once again release 17 figures. What’s your list of the 17 figures Kenner would’ve/could’ve/should’ve released next? The “Next 17!”
Even cooler than the question, though, is the answer given last week where Khabarakh posted his “Next 17” customs. Awesome!

Those are great custom jobs! They look like they could be official–and I can’t disagree with any of the character choices. Kenner did pretty good at getting a lot of the droids and aliens into the line-up. This is good variety of the main characters alternate looks plus some much-missed faces that were never made.
Rebel trooper, Mon Mothma, Tarkin and the Lars’ would be on my list for sure. That yellow-jacketed Luke is superb!
