Action Figure Carrying Cases

When the Chewbacca Bandolier Strap and Laser Rifle Carry Case arrived a few weeks ago, Gina made an evil, evil comment that won’t leave my mind. She asked a simple question that, as we know, is one loaded with potential: “Are you making a book about action figure carrying cases?”

I wasn’t, but her suggestion/question is way too fantastic an idea to throw away. What would such a book include? Well, I’m thinking something along the lines of Lunchbox, Inside and Out* (reading post here) would work well for action figure carrying cases. A selection of action figure carrying cases from my childhood years (late seventies through the mid-eighties) with photos and commentary could be a lot of fun. Probably 30 or so different cases in one book so there’s a variety of designs. Yeah, I think I can see how this would work . . .
