1985 Circus World Ad Packed with G.I. Joe Fun!
As I said earlier this week, a lot of the truly great stuff in the Google newspaper archives isn’t indexed at all. For example, this Circus World ad from the Reading Eagle newspaper in 1985 is upside down in the archives. Yep, I had to screenshot the ad in bits (something like a dozen separate screenshots total), flip everything, and then assemble the parts to create this image. Totally worth the effort!!!
