Transformers Universe #1 and Bruticus

A few weeks ago I posted Shockwave from the Transformers Universe comic series of the eighties. As a kid I grabbed each of these issues as they were released, and even though the contents are reprinted in Transformers Classics #8 collection* that book isn’t quite the same as the single issues.

Here we see Bruticus from the back cover of the first issue in the series. That’s right, kids, the four issue Transformers Universe mini-series from 1986 and 1987 was free of ads. All Transformers fun and no advertising to slow down the entertainment.
