Star Wars Action Figures Priced at $0.97 at Best in 1984

My latest book project is dedicated to Star Wars ads of the seventies and eighties, and after spending the last year+ exploring those old ads I can say one thing for certain: Man, a lot of stores sold those Kenner Star Wars action figures when they were new! The rabbit hole is deep and winds through many years and regions, such as this Best stores ad from 1984. The scary thing is that $0.97/each wasn’t even the lowest price on Star Wars action figures out there in the mid-eighties.
