1975 Hostess Fruit Pies Ad Featuring the Road Runner and Coyote

Out of a 1975 Whitman Lost in Space comic book comes this full-page ad for Hostess Fruit Pies. The Hostess Fruit Pies ads of the seventies and eighties featuring superheroes are always a blast, but I knew so little of the comic books outside of Marvel and DC that it was only recently that I was even aware that the Road Runner and Coyote also got in on the Hostess advertising action. Why don’t we see ads like this today?
