1987 AADA Road Atlas & Survival Guide Advertisement for Car Wars and GURPS Autoduel
More classic fun from the Car Wars game (find at Amazon.com*), this full-page ad comes from 1987 and issue two of Steve Jackson Games’ Where We’re Going newslatter. As part of working on Car Wars I’ve been digging through the past, and this ad sparked memories of how exciting it was when a new book in this series reached my hands.
We’re not currently planning books like this for the new series of Car Wars, but if the game takes off I can totally see a time in which we would revisit the road atlas idea and make something new for today. Now, though, I need to get back to the realities and join the staff in making the new Car Wars game. Dreams can come later.
