1978 Force Beam Ad from Star Wars Weekly
We looked at one ad for this toy last month, and now it’s time to return to 1978 and the UK Star Wars Weekly comic books (find at Amazon.com*) for an advertisement that’s even more blatant in its “we wanna be Star Wars”ness. Woah. It was definitely a different time; I don’t think an ad like this would appear on an official Star Wars comic these days.
