Star Wars: The Force Awakens Roleplaying Game at Gen Con
Fantasy Flight Games has done a wonderful job with their Star Wars roleplaying game (find at Amazon.com*) over the last few years. Breaking the Star Wars universe into a trio of games — Star Wars: Edge of the Empire*, Star Wars: Age of Rebellion*, and Star Wars: Force and Destiny* — is a fantastic way to give players focused Star Wars roleplaying adventures, and now Fantasy Flight Games has brought The Force Awakens to roleplaying with the new Beginner Box at Gen Con.
I didn’t grab a copy of the game at Gen Con — I need a bigger suitcase! — but I did get a quick peek at the game in the display case and everything I have seen (in person and online) tells me this is another fabulous addition to Fantasy Flight Games’ line of Star Wars roleplaying game books and accessories (find at Amazon.com*).

I’m excited for this one, but no core book to follow? My guess is that they’re holding off until the episodes 8 and 9 are out.
I’m really hoping they do a boxed set for Rogue One though and follow through with at least some supplements. Seems like there is a lot to mine in the lead-up to Battle of Yavin!
Maybe a combined Rebels and Rogue One book?
@Jay – A Rogue One sourcebook for Age of Rebellion would be so damned cool. I’m in!
