Gary Gygax’s “Dangerous Journeys” in 1993
After leaving TSR, and after the Cyborg Commando years (ad posted here), Gary Gygax worked with GDW to release the Dangerous Journeys roleplaying game (find at Amazon.com*). Legal headaches soon took the game down, though, so this ad from an issue of Journeys in 1993 is now more of an oddity and a conversation piece than anything else.
Empire of Imagination* goes into detail on the legal troubles surrounding the Dangerous Journeys roleplaying game, and if you’re at all interested in Gygax and B>Dungeons & Dragons then the book is a must-read. Entertaining and packed with info.
