This 1981 Bi-Mart newspaper ad is exactly what Stompers fans need to make this Wednesday just a little brighter. Few websites even mention the classic Stomper 4x4s motorized toys of the early eighties, and it is probably because so many of us who wanted the toys back when they were new either only had one or two — or none! — because they were so very expensive.
Just think about it. On sale, the Stompers toy in this ad was priced at $4.47, which works out to almost $12 in today’s money. Stompers were pricey!
