Over $1,000 for a Captain America Art Print?

And I thought the Spider-Man print for $500 was expensive (mentioned here). Well, $500 is nothing next to the $1,065 price tag on this Captain America art print at Sideshow Collectibles*. 48″ tall by 30″ wide, this is one hell of a huge piece of artwork for your wall. You’ve gotta love Captain America to add this to your collection.

$1,000 is way too much for me to spend on an art print, but if anyone out there wants to buy one of these for me for Christmas then I promise I’ll give it a good home. I’m not saying this wouldn’t be a cool piece to own, I’m just trying to figure out how I would ever justify spending a house payment on a framed art print. That’s crazy!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; I need to make a hell of a lot more money to support my wilder dreams. Such as having this as part of a dedicated toy/art room in a house that would have to be much larger than Gina and I are in now. Not gonna happen, but it’s fun to look at art and dream.
