Rogue One – Unused Footage
I saw Star Wars: Rogue One on opening day and will hold off on saying anything beyond “Fun!” until after the start of the year. I know not everyone has had a chance to get to the theater, so I’m trying to keep comments to a minimum so that I don’t accidentally spoil things for someone.
I can say, however, that this video collection of unused Rogue One clips demonstrates how much of the movie was affected by the reshoots. I actually kinda like that Disney didn’t use a large percentage of some of the trailers in the finished movie. It made the trailers both advertising for the film and a bit of a smokescreen. Maybe they’ll use this same trick for future movies.
