It revealed that between August 2015 and August 2016, fans posted over 838,000 pieces of “Star Wars”-related content on YouTube adding up more than 2,296 per day and nearly 96 per hour.

Incredible! This means that Star Wars fans are, not surprisingly, one of Disney’s greatest marketing tools when it comes to promoting Star Wars. There’s a reason that a company should be open and supportive of fans creating video unboxings, reviews, and other content: Those fan-crafted videos can go on to generate a hell of a lot of buzz!
