“Spectacular Inter-Galactic Battles” with the Buck Rogers XXVc Roleplaying Game
TSR’s Buck Rogers XXVc roleplaying game (find at Amazon.com*) of the nineties is one of those hidden treasures that more out there really should know about. The game — built on the second edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons rules — is a masterpiece of world design. The game transforms the campy Buck Rogers property into (at the time the game was new) a blend of cutting edge sci-fi and space opera adventure. The game truly is a remarkable work of art.
And now I present to you this full-page advertisement from a 1991 issue of Dragon magazine. This ad promotes the game’s first three modules — Deimos Mandate, Sargasso of Space, and A Matter of Gravitol — and stumbling across this ad makes me again want to take down my collection of Buck Rogers XXVc roleplaying game books and ensure that I have a complete set. I think I do, but I should verify that before the books get much older and start to get pricey.

Missing this game from my collection. Any word on how it actually played?
@Jay – Played fantastic! We played a lot of this back when it was new.
