This 1978 comic advertisement from the back cover of an issue of Superman tells us a story and promotes a product all at once. I love the ads of the seventies and eighties that were designed like comic stories, and this bike siren ad is as cheesy and silly as we should expect from the time. In the tale you will learn how Bobby handles making his bike safer so that Mr. Jones won’t run him down. We hope. For all we know, Mr. Jones is gonna go have a terrible day and start running down all of the kids in the neighborhood, regardless of whether or not they have the Super Siren on their bikes.
