Nuremberg Toy Fair 2017 Video

I shot and edited together a short (little over two minutes) video of my time at the Nuremberg Toy Fair last week. The aerial footage of the convention center was shot using the DJI Mavic Pro*, the exterior street shots were captured with my iPhone, and the interior convention center video was shot on the DJI Osmo*.

The video shows only a tiny part of the show; there simply wasn’t time to walk through all twelve halls. I was there for meetings, after all, and exhausted from travel.

Enjoy!

  1. Awesome stuff.

I know what you mean about conventions. I used to do E3 a lot in my former life and a lot of the guys I worked with had the idea I was on some kind of paid vacation where I got to play videogames all day, yet nothing could be further from the truth…

  2. Wow, some incredible shots there! The ones inside the convention center look really smooth too. Did you use any kind of motion stabilizing on those?

    1. @Jay – The Osmo is a stabilized camera. Vertical stabilization is a bit rocky, but I found out they sell an extension to fix that problem. Ordered!

  3. Random things I noticed… a remote-control car that looks just like Wheeljack from Transformers, and some nifty Muchkin combo packs!
