How popular were stunt cycles and cars in the seventies? Well, this 1975 newspaper ad goes a long way toward showing us just how much kids loved motorized cycles and cars back in the mid-seventies. Kenner’s Turbo Tower of Power is just one of the toys featured, but the real star of the ad has to be Ideal’s Derry Daring and her “Trick Cycle.” Hey, if boys can have Evel Knievel action figure then girls should get their own daredevil action figure, right?
