“Mekton Zeta Coming Soon” in 1995
I think it is safe to say that R. Talsorian’s Mekton Zeta roleplaying game (find at Amazon.com*) of the nineties was the last time that series held any position of strength in the hobby game market. There were few books for the line, but the design was fun and the graphics and art fit quite well for a mecha RPG in the mid-nineties.
Today, as a fun look back at the past, I’d like to share this announcement for the Mekton Zeta roleplaying game from an issue of Mecha Press. Look at all of the promise in that announcement, and imagine how excited mecha gamers were when news of Mekton Zeta first spread.
