Dungeons & Dragons Action Figures and the Crystar Castle Playset
LJN’s Dungeons & Dragons action figure series and toyline didn’t last nearly long enough at retail. It almost feels like the toys were a year or two too late to really take advantage of the D&D roleplaying mania of the early eighties, meaning that all these toys really had to promote them was a fairly simplistic cartoon on Saturday mornings. Too bad, because I’d love to see more ads for the line like this one, but since the series died so fast there aren’t many newspaper ads out there. Sad face, right?
