Alternate G.I. Joe Manta Offer from 1983

I shared a promotional flyer for the G.I. Joe Manta mail-away toy earlier this week (posted here), but that wasn’t the only time Hasbro offered the toy for sale. Below, check out this alternate promotional flyer for the toy where the Duke offer has completely vanished. This change allowed the Hasbro designers to enlarge the Manta artwork, and the only other change is to the expiration date on the offer.

The reverse side of the flyer may look identical to the other version, but here again, the expiration dates have been changed. It’s a minor difference, but the little things like this are sure fun to chase down and examine.
