Star Wars Wampa and Snowspeeder, Lone Ranger Holster, and G.I. Joe Walkie Talkie

This 1982 Playland newspaper ad brings us so much fun that we have gotta stop and drool. Starting with Kenner’s Star Wars action figure series we get the Wampa and Snowspeeder toys (again, one word or two words, Kenner?), both of which appear in my new book. Next, Gabriel’s Lone Ranger makes an appearance, but this time it’s a holster set and not the awesome action figures that I continue to resist.

Finally, we get another look at the G.I. Joe walkie talkie set (you can find another ad for the toy here), which wasn’t even produced by Hasbro. Licensing at work in the earliest days of Hasbro’s A Real American Hero line.
