AM Robotic Radio and Space Vehicle Robot Car at Eckerd in 1985

Turn to page four in this paper in the Google newspaper archives and you’ll find a couple of ad blocks for cheap transforming robot toys. Christmas of 1985 was still a good time for transforming robots, and this Eckerd ad offers up a robot we’ve seen before and one that’s new to me.

I reviewed the AM Robotic Radio last year, so check out my review for pics and thoughts on the toy (it is awesome). The Space Vehicle Robot Car, though, is a toy I do not recognize. Help! Anyone know which toy this is?
