Star Wars Rebel Transport, Slave 1, and Micro Collection on Sale

Last week’s Well of Souls newspaper ad also included rebate offers on Kenner’s other big toyline of the early eighties: Star Wars! And since I am still packing and mailing out copies of my latest book, it is fitting that I run across this ad for the Rebel Transport and Slave 1 vehicles. I own both toys — even if the Slave 1 is the Shadows of the Empire version — and can happily report that both are as incredible today as they were when this ad was new.
