Mattel’s Masters of the Universe* series has never been as popular as it was in the eighties, and this 1983 newspaper ad comes from the time before Mattel overloaded the market with He-Man and his friends. The line was so popular that the most recognizable playset ever made is most likely Castle Grayskull . . . which we find here for only $22.97. That’s a lot of plastic at an incredible price!
