“Where air is more precious than gold…”
This G.I. Joe magazine issue from 1987 again shows how Hasbro was using the success of G.I. Joe to raise the awareness of new toys. Air Raiders is another one of those toylines of the eighties that is easily forgotten, but the artwork and design of the toys truly stands out as proof that Hasbro had some of the best boys’ toys designers of the eighties working on the strangest of concepts.
Just take a look at my Air Raiders Twin Lighting review from 2011 to see how fabulous the designs truly are. We may never see the return of Air Raiders, but at least we can still enjoy the work Hasbro sunk into the line three decades ago.
