1981 TSR Dragon Dice Advertisement

The very first roleplaying game dice that I ever owned were the cheap TSR dice packed inside the original Marvel Super Heroes roleplaying game (find at Amazon.com*) and the old red box Dungeons & Dragons game. To be honest, those dice were cheap, ugly, terrible . . . and I loved them all! It’s easy to look at the quality of dice today and forget just how bad those early dice were, but if you ever owned the Dragon Dice set shown in this Dragon issue from 1981, well, I am betting you will never forget the feel of truly bad dice in your hands.
