“Blast Off with Major Matt Mason” in 1967

Both Space Toys of the 60’s* and Action Figures of the 1960s* have led to me looking at Mattel’s Matt Mason action figure series on more than one occasion, and it is a bit of a miracle that I haven’t broken down and ordered at least one of the figures. I think all that is saving me is the knowledge that the rubber figures could be in poor condition, but seeing ads like this one from 1967 is making it harder and harder to resist the Matt Mason line.
