“Dungeons & Dragons Figures” in 1983

This 1983 Circus World advertisement includes another look at the LJN Dungeons & Dragons action figures, giving us an excellent companion to the 1984 ad that we saw last year. The artwork in today’s ad isn’t as crisp and clean, but we do get to see that the toys were priced a dollar higher in 1983 than they were in 1984, showing us evidence of how quickly the LJN Dungeons & Dragons action figures died at retail.
