ReSaurus MechWarrior (BattleTech) Toys in ToyFare Magazine in 2001
As near as I can determine, the ReSaurus MechWarrior toys shown below (from the June 2001 issue of ToyFare magazine) were never produced. There’s a page at Raving Toy Maniac with pics and some info, as well as this blogspot.com post with some other pics, but all signs point to these toys never existing for sale. That seriously sucks, because these designs look like they could have come straight from the source material. That Atlas looks fabulous!
Resaurus was a great company that was gone too soon. These are easily 10x better than the clunky Tyco line which I assume was a cash in on the animated series.
@Dan N. – I like the Tyco line for what it is — a product of the extreme nineties — but these ReSaurus ‘mechs look so great that I would happily buy a few of these.
