1996 Chaos Progenitus Dice Game Advertisement
Known today as Daemon Dice (find at Amazon.com*, official website), Lester Smith’s second dice game after TSR’s Dragon Dice was Chaos Progenitus by Destination Games. I played Chaos Progenitus many more times than I did Dragon Dice back in the nineties; the act of constructing a monster and then battling your opponent appealed to me more than the Dragon Dice high concept of pitting armies against armies.
I don’t think that Chaos Progenitus ever went over big in stores, but the dice are nifty and the game is one I can look back at and remember as fun. I have no idea how Daemon Dice* is performing in today’s market, but if you’re a dice game fan you should track this down and give it a shot. The game is inexpensive, plays fast, and is fun.
