1989 Blackthorne BattleTech Comic Book Advertisement

This B&W ad for the BattleTech comic book comes from Protoculture Addicts (find at Amazon.com*), the then-fanzine dedicated to Robotech that was slowly expanding to cover anime and even roleplaying games. The ad threw me off for a second, because it talks about a three issue mini-series and is advertising issue #5 of the BattleTech comic. The comic ended with issue six, and the sarna.net BattleTech fan site includes a detailed summary of the entire series . . . which I do not own. I have a handful of issues, but I’ve yet to chase down a complete collection.
