Hasbro’s Transformers Decepticon Leader and Kenner’s Super Powers Action Figures

This 1984 Kiddytown newspaper advertisement makes a wonderful companion to a 1985 ad that we saw earlier this year. The previous ad listed the Kenner Super Powers action figures at an even lower price, using the same artwork, but showed the Transformers Jumpstarters where this one lists Megatron for sale. The odd part, though, is that Megatron image. Who thinks that is the important part of the toy to showcase?
