Kenner Star Wars Millennium Falcon and Rebel Armored Snowspeeder

That Buck Rogers ad that we saw a few days ago also included this ad block for Kenner’s Star Wars Millennium Falcon and Rebel Armored Snowspeeder vehicles and left me with a question: Why are there so many newspaper ads where we see both vehicles together? Was it that retailers ordered both in high quantities at the same time, or did Kenner offer up some sort of special deal and a savings when buying the two together? Damn, I really need to track down some of the Kenner sales kits from the late seventies and early eighties!
