“Where are the Princess Leia dolls?”

Over three decades before the “Where’s Rey?” movement, this 1983 letter by Susan Mills to the Prescott, Arizona Courier newspaper asked the question:

“Did Kenner only pretend to manufacture Princess Leias? Are they being snapped up as soon as they’re stocked? Or is it bias on the part of the stores’ buyers?”

Those who forget the past and all that, I guess . . .

  1. While I’m sad that it took so long to correct, my daughter (age 4) is definitely reaping the benefits of letters like Susan today. The Forces of Destiny line is proof enough of that!
