BattleTech Elemental and Heavy ‘Mech Toys by Tyco

That Exo Squad Space E Frame ad that I posted earlier today was adjacent to this block of Tyco BattleTech toys in the ToysRUs newspaper ad. Surprisingly ironic that these two were advertised side-by-side; Playmates and Fasa (owners of the BattleTech property) went into legal hell in the nineties over the original giant robot designs that Fasa used in the game. It’s a fascinating story and one that is totally worth your time to read through.
