Tomy Tribots and Marchon Road Bots on Sale in 1985

October 17, 1985. Yesterday’s ad for the Tomy Tribots cheap transforming robot toys sent me back into the newspaper archives, quickly leading me to the Decatur, IL, Herald and Review where I found a K’s Merchandise advertisement featuring both the Tribots and the Marchon Road Bots! As you likely know, I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for the Road Bots (Hookorr review, Loadorr review, Cementorr review) so there was no way I was going to abandon this ad block. I’d totally buy cases of the toys at this price!
