Autobot Mini-Cars at Bonanza Discount Center in 1985

August 15, 1985. I posted a 1986 ad for the Transformers Autobot mini-cars earlier this week, mentioning that the low price for the toys in the ad — $1.49/each — was confusing since it came from an age when the Transformers toys were still selling. Well, it’s time for more possible confusion, because this ad from The Missoulian newspaper again describes the toys as “changeable robots,” but the image definitely shows Bumblebee and Windcharger!
