Robocop and the Ultra Police at KayBee Toys in 1989

Yesterday’s Decepticon Pretender Monsters advertisement also included this block for Kenner’s Robocop and the Ultra Police toys, expanding the number of newspaper ads we have uncovered for the line to three (first ad, second ad). The Robocop series (Amazon.com search*) continues to this day, though it may have been Kenner’s line that most-influenced how many children of the eighties perceive Robocop today. And yes, I believe that, for some fans, those toys affect opinions of the Robocop brand even more than the films.
