Spotted Online – Action Figure Displays Series 2

Action Figure Displays has launched a new series of their foamboard displays (first mentioned here). I have a couple of their earlier releases and the displays look pretty good with 6 to 7-inch action figures.

What I’d really love to see is a combination of these display backgrounds with a base more along the lines of the upcoming Minimate Dioramas from Luke’s Toy Store (mentioned here). More and more it looks like I’m gonna have to create the displays I want, though, since the concept just doesn’t seem to strike anyone else as fun. (I wrote about cheap Star Wars playsets many months ago; that plastic base and cardboard backdrop is exactly what I want today.)
