Spotted Online – Mezco Mystery Item

Browsing the web this morning I ran across this post at Toy Cyte that tells us that:

“Mezco’s bringing your favorite horrific monsters from their Cinema of Fear line into the popular 3 3/4″ scale. Leatherface, Freddy and Jason will comprise the initial offering of figures. While this line isn’t due out until the late 3rd quarter of 2009, they’ll be bringing a top secret sample to Toy Fair, and Toy Fair only.”

The product page on the Mezco Direct website just says:

“Case of 12 of Mezco’s Toy Fair 2009 Mystery Item. For further details please contact your sales representative. This item will begin shipping on or around April 2, 2009. There will be no returns accepted on this item.”

$156 for the case of 12.

I’ll have to find time to stop by the Mezco booth when I’m at Toy Fair. Hopefully this will be something neat and not just a lame promotion.
