Gentle Giant’s R2-D2 Statue up for Pre-Orders at Entertainment Earth

The Gentle Giant 12-inch scale R2-D2 statue (first mentioned here) isn’t schedule for release until next summer, but he’s now available for pre-orders at Entertainment Earth.* $160 is a lot; I’m holding out hope that Sideshow will bring us a 12-inch scale R2-D2 statue for about $80 or so.
