“A Deluxe X-Force Pinup by Mike Mignola” from 1991

Before Mike Mignola found success with Hellboy (find at Amazon.com*), he was a comic artist taking jobs with several publishers, including DC and Marvel, and creating covers and pinups for a wide variety of books. One such pinup is shared below (from X-Force #4) and should come as a bit of a surprise to those who only really know of Mignola’s work after Hellboy. You didn’t expect to see Mignola artwork inside a Rob Liefeld issue of X-Force, did you?
